Dato’ Mohd Azman Bin Yaacob founded Paku Laris Group of Companies together with Datin Janaiyah in 2008. He was born in 1967 in Pasir Puteh, Kelantan. He holds a Bsc Degree in Civil Engineering specializing in Construction Management from Cornell University, USA. He obtained his early education in Sekolah Kebangsaan Kamil 1 and then to Sekolah Menengah Kamil and Sekolah Menengah Sains Machang,Kelantan.

Dato’ Mohd Azman has extensive working experience in Government and Private
sectors. He was with JKR Malaysia from 1990 until 1996. During his tenure in JKR, he managed and supervised various building projects in JKR Labuan and the construction of the RM 400 million UKM Hospital. Afterwhich, he joined UEM Berhad from 1996 until 2000 to handle 10 hospital projects in East Malaysia. He was with Protasco Berhad Group from 2000 until his retirement from corporate world in August 2015.

While in Protasco, he was appointed for various senior management positions whereby he had been involved and responsible for various infrastructure and building projects undertaken by the company worth more than RM 2 billion. During that period, he was also involved in many business development activities and joint venture arrangements for overseas projects in India, Libya, Sri Lanka, Cambodia and Papua New Guinea.

He also used to hold directorship for a few subsidiary companies within Protasco Berhad Group such as Roadcare (M) Sdn Bhd, HCM Engineering Sdn Bhd, KPS HCM Sdn Bhd, Permint Granite – HCM Sdn Bhd, Empire Indra Sdn Bhd, THT – HCM Sdn Bhd, as well as HCM PNG Limited. Currently, other than leading and managing Paku Laris Group of Companies, Dato’ Mohd Azman still has advisory roles in Protasco Berhad. He is also a director for DAL HCM JV Sdn Bhd; the concession company for the Privatization of Federal Road Maintenance in Sarawak.
